For an unpaid fee, send the built-in reminder to non-payers only, then follow up privately with the exact amount and a date. If a family genuinely cannot pay, set up instalments or quietly cover it, and record what was agreed so the ledger stays accurate.
Most unpaid fees are not refusals. They are a parent who meant to do it on Sunday. Work through it in order and you will clear the majority without a difficult conversation.
Send a reminder
- Open the team, tap Money, then the fee.
- Tap Remind unpaid.
- Everyone who still owes gets a private notification with a pay link. Nobody who has paid is contacted, and nothing is posted in the team chat.
Reminders are private by design. Naming people in the group chat is the fastest way to lose a family.
Nudge one person
Tap the player's name, then Send reminder. Same private message, one recipient. If that does not land, tap Message to open a direct chat with the parent.
Offer a plan
Open the fee, tap the player, then Set up instalments to split their remaining balance. Doing this quietly for one family is usually the difference between getting paid and losing a player.
A family who cannot pay
Tap the player, then Mark as waived, and add a private note. The balance is cleared and the fee total updates. The note is visible to you only, so your records still explain the gap.
Before the season ends
Export the ledger and settle anything outstanding before you archive the team. It is far harder to chase in the off season, and archived teams are read only.
