1. Who we are
TeamLockIn is operated by TeamLockIn LLC, a Georgia limited liability company doing business as TeamLockIn ("TeamLockIn", "we", "us"). Our address for legal notices is 113 S. Perry Street, Suite 206, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
By creating an account or using TeamLockIn you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who can use TeamLockIn
You must be at least 13 years old to hold a TeamLockIn account.
Children under 13 do not have accounts. A parent or legal guardian holds the account and receives everything on the child's behalf. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will close it.
If you are between 13 and 17, you may hold your own account. Some programs require a parent or guardian account instead. That is your program's decision, not ours.
By creating an account you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you will keep it current.
3. Accounts and roles
TeamLockIn has several roles, and what you can see and do depends on yours.
- Coach or program owner. Creates teams, invites members, sets fees, posts events.
- Assistant coach. A limited version of the above, set by the coach.
- Parent or guardian. Sees their own player's teams. May act on their player's behalf.
- Player. Sees their own teams.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password private. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
4. Subscriptions, trials and billing
Coaches pay. Players and parents never pay. Joining a team is free for families.
We offer a 14 day free trial on every plan. A payment method is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and your payment method is charged.
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the billing frequency you choose, and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Prices are shown on our pricing page and may change. If we change the price of a plan you are already on, we will tell you before your next renewal so you can cancel if you choose.
5. Refunds
Subscriptions. We do not offer refunds on subscription payments. The 14 day free trial exists so you can decide whether TeamLockIn fits your program before you are charged. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the term you paid for.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, those companies process the payment and handle refund requests under their own policies. We cannot issue or prevent a refund on a purchase made through them. Contact Apple or Google directly.
Courses. Courses are digital content delivered immediately. No refund is available once you have opened a course. If you have not opened it, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing us.
Team fees and fundraisers. This money belongs to the program, not to TeamLockIn. We take a 0% platform fee and we do not hold these funds. Refunds are between you and your coach or program. We will help either side by providing payment records, but we do not decide these disputes and we cannot reverse a payment on a coach's behalf.
6. Team money
TeamLockIn charges no platform fee on team fees and fundraisers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and Stripe's own processing fee applies. Coaches may choose to pass that processing fee to families.
Money collected through TeamLockIn goes to the program's connected payment account on Stripe's normal payout schedule. We do not hold it.
Coaches are responsible for how program money is collected, spent and reported, including any tax obligations. TeamLockIn is a tool, not the program's accountant.
7. Courses and coach content
If you publish a course, you own your content. You give TeamLockIn a license to host, stream and deliver it to the people who bought it, and to show previews you have marked as free.
You keep 90% of each sale. TeamLockIn retains 10% to cover video storage, streaming bandwidth, payment processing and support.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to publish everything in your course, including music, footage and images. Do not publish anything you do not have permission to use.
If your account closes, students who already purchased your course keep access for the term they paid for.
8. What you may not do
Do not use TeamLockIn to:
- harass, threaten, bully or abuse anyone
- post sexual content, or any content that sexualises a minor
- contact a minor for any purpose unrelated to the team
- share another person's private information without permission
- impersonate anyone
- upload malware, scrape the service, or attempt to break its security
- resell or redistribute access to TeamLockIn
- break any law
We will close accounts for conduct that endangers a child, immediately and without notice.
9. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us a license to store and display it so the service can function.
We do not routinely monitor team messages. We may review content when it is reported to us, when we are investigating a safety concern, or when the law requires it.
10. Live streaming
TeamLockIn lets a coach link a stream hosted on a third party service such as YouTube. We do not host, record or control that stream. It is governed by that service's terms.
Coaches are responsible for having permission to film, including permission from the families of the players shown and from the venue. Many facilities and leagues restrict filming. Check before you stream.
11. Ending your account
You may delete your account at any time from the app.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, that creates a risk to others, or where required by law.
When an account is deleted, we permanently delete personal data as described in the Privacy Policy, other than records we are legally required to keep.
12. Service availability
We work to keep TeamLockIn running but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. We may change or discontinue features. If we make a material change that reduces what you have paid for, we will tell you.
13. Disclaimers
TeamLockIn is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows.
TeamLockIn is a communication and organization tool. We do not supervise teams, verify who anyone is, run background checks on coaches, or take responsibility for what happens at practices, games or events. That responsibility sits with the program and its organization.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeamLockIn and TeamLockIn LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some states do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law allows.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify TeamLockIn against claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
16. Disputes
Talk to us first. Email us and give us 30 days to resolve the issue. Most things end here.
If that does not resolve it, we will use mediation before any other step.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute not resolved as above will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use TeamLockIn after that means you accept the updated Terms.
