1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work at all. Others are optional and only run if you allow them.
Optional cookies are off until you say yes. No analytics or advertising script loads on TeamLockIn before you consent to that category in the cookie banner.
2. The cookies this site actually sets
This is the real list, not a template. Today TeamLockIn sets no advertising cookies at all.
Necessary (always on)
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|
| tl_consent | Stores your cookie choice and the policy version you accepted, so we do not ask again. | 12 months | First party |
| sb-<project>-auth-token | Signs a dashboard user in and keeps the session. Set only after an account holder signs in. Stored in browser storage, not a tracking cookie. | Until sign out | First party |
| sidebar_state | Remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is collapsed. Dashboard only. | 7 days | First party |
Functional (off by default)
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|
| tl-join-code | Remembers a team invite code you typed so you do not have to retype it. | Until you clear your browser | First party |
| tl-theme | Remembers light or dark mode inside the dashboard. | Until you clear your browser | First party |
Analytics (off by default)
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics: tells repeat visits apart so page views are not double counted. Loads only after you allow Analytics. | 13 months | Third party |
| _ga_<id> | Google Analytics: keeps session state for the property. | 13 months | Third party |
Advertising (off by default)
None are set today. If we ever run ads, the Meta pixel cookies _fbp and _fbc (90 days, third party) would be used to measure whether an ad led to a signup, and they would only load after you allow Advertising. This page is updated before any such cookie goes live.
3. Changing your mind
Use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page. You can turn a category off at any time. Turning a category off clears the cookies it set and stops the script from running.
4. How long your choice lasts
We keep your choice for 12 months and then ask again. We record the time you chose and the version of this policy you accepted. If we change this policy in a way that affects what runs, your consent is reset and you are asked again.
