Open the team, tap Files, then Upload to post playbooks, waivers, rosters and photos. Files stay in one place for the whole season and remain searchable, so nobody has to scroll a group text in November to find the form you sent in August.
Files posted in a group text are gone by Tuesday. Files posted to the team stay put and stay searchable for the whole season.
Upload a file
- Open the team and tap Files.
- Tap Upload.
- Pick a file from your phone or your computer, or take a photo.
- Give it a clear name. "Waiver 2026" beats "IMG_4417".
- Tap Upload.
What you can upload
Documents, images, video and audio. The most common ones are the waiver, the playbook, the tournament schedule as a PDF, and game photos.
Folders
Tap New folder to group things. Most coaches end up with Forms, Playbook, Schedule and Photos. Drag a file onto a folder to move it.
Files posted in chat
Anything attached to a chat message is automatically saved to Files as well, so you do not have to scroll back through three weeks of messages to find the parking map.
Who can see them
Everyone in the team. Files are not public and are never indexed anywhere. If you have something that should only go to staff, post it in the staff room instead of the team room.
Photos of children
Only post photos of children with the team. Do not post them anywhere public on a child's behalf, and take a photo down if a parent asks you to. No discussion required. Our Youth Safety page sets out what we expect from every adult using TeamLockIn.
Removing a file
Open the file, tap the menu, then Delete. Only the person who uploaded it and the head coach can delete it.
